Independent Huatulco hotels

"The beach club was very nice including the pool and the beach. The rooms were clean and decent with fantastic air conditioning. I wish I had known that there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room. Buffet 7-11 am at the resort and then 7pm for supper. Near the end of our stay, we found we could order a snack in between this time. There was a shuttle to the beach club starting at 9:30 am but there were no drinks served until 11:00 and no food until 1:00. It would’ve been nice to know these things ahead of time. The food was ok. "

No volvería En la limpieza mi duvet estaba sucio 🤢"

"This is a smaller resort, but nice. We went the week after Easter, so it was quite busy for the first part, but died down the last couple of days. There were two buffets for breakfast, but we only went to one of them. There were three al a cartes, and we only made it to two, but they were both very good. The beach was beautiful!"

"We arrived a couple hours before check in, we were allowed to take the hotel van to the beach club and have the included lunch and use the pool. When arriving back for check in we had some complications. I had booked 4 rooms and was given 3, I was told this was a mistake from Expedia and they only were showing my reservation for 3 rooms. I showed the confirmation for all 4 rooms and they said if I wanted the 4th I needed to pay but they were also out of rooms. After going back and forth with them I told them to check my husbands name. Magically they found the 4th room. It didn’t make any sense since I made them all under my name. The rooms smell when you use the air for too long, and is not the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in. We didn’t spend much time in the rooms though. The guys driving us to and from the beach club were so nice and friendly. The food and drinks were good too. Probably won’t stay again though just because of how unhelpful the front desk staff was. "
