"Elevator didn't work. Room was dirty. Pillow had hair on it. Pull out couch had yellow stain on mattress pad. Mattress on pull out couch was so terrible even my 8 year old complained that you could feel the springs. "

"Pretty sure this place has a mold issue. Room smelled musty and when I woke up in the morning I could hardly breathe. Lobby is pretty, gym is OK but no mats. If you have mold allergies you may want to stay elsewhere. Room was pretty old and worn."

"Staff was attentive and professional, valet service was quick and well mannered, it was nice to have the restaurant, bar and nightclub in the establishment. Some of the negative, water bottles were delivered in a garbage bag and put on the table, no refrigerator in room where there should have been one. "

"Great place to stay during our visit for the Houston rodeo. Room was clean staff were courteous and available when help was required. Pool/hot tub area was smaller than expected. As we were here in March, not a lot of foot traffic at the pool but I'm sure if it was warmer this area would have been extremely busy and tight for space. The good news here though for warmer months is that the pool only sees sun for a couple of hours per day which probably would be nice in hotter months. The gym is attached to the pool area and is well stocked with quality equipment. One important item to note is that there is a rental car company, Sixt, at the hotel. Next time we will get a taxi/uber from/to the airport and rent a vehicle at the hotel. We rented an SUV this time due to our luggage but only needed a small car for ripping around town. I would definitely re-book here in the future. There is also guest laundry on the 2nd floor which is a nice surprise. "

"2 night stay in the 2 room suite for our trip in for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. 5 star experience from check in to check out. On had the hotel shuttle service take us to Rice Village to check out the shops and grab some dinner. It was so convenient and when we were ready a quick text to the hotel shuttle to pick us back up and return to the hotel. We had a cold snap so no pool time for our trip but the pool area was clean and inviting. We tested out the bartender's skills at the plum sky bar on thr 13th floor and he did not disappoint! Perfect stay close to NRG for our concert event and we used Omega Royal Transportation for our car service from the hotel to NRG and back, which was flawless! (Highly recommend their car services!) Perfect quick get away- we will definitely be back!"

"Location of this hotel is good. It is downtown and close proximity to Daikon Park and Toyota Center. The valet drop off pick up area is very confusing super busy at a very busy intersection that would be my chief complaint and of course, like most downtown towns of major cities, homeless people and people under the influence of certain substances make you feel a bit uneasy of going out once it gets dark not very amenities. You have free coffee, free water, which is great. They also offer toothbrushes and shoe covers razors, etc. at no additional cost."
