"This place is a pub with rooms and my feeling is that the rooms are generally rented by working men on short stays. Not couples in their 70s like me and my husband. For example there was a clothes rail but no coat hangers. And no hair dryer but plenty of USB points. The bed was large and very comfortable. The main plus of the Crafty Cow was the staff. "The hotel is beautiful Victorean property. The location is idyllic between the hills. The only issue was the narrow entrance and the lack of parking due to the tour buses the used 4 parking spots. Other than that, the hotel was a hit. I would definitely stay again. "

"We were lucky enough to stay in the Langford suite. Wow it was as big as a air bb. Decor was 1st class bathroom had a 6ft double shower. Pub was great staff were lovely food to match. The staircase to the suite needs replacing also was surprised to see the entrance mat had a large stain on it. But we would still give you 10 out of 10. "
