"Beutiful site and rooms, impressive common areas"

"Fantastic location on waterfront. Reception staff incredibly helpful. Really kind to me following husbands illness and extended hospital stay. Hotel full but they managed to always extend my stay without having to change rooms. Whilst room very clean on arrival housekeeping very patchy and not up to the standard expected. Failed to replenish coffees etc. Clean towels and mugs given but dirty ones left in room. Rubbish not removed. Had to go to reception to request proper clean and bed change....

"The positives are the location. The breakfast was good. Our room was big. The negatives were the room was dark and dingy. We were supposed to to have our room cleaned after three days. That never happened. No interior lock on the door. The door didn’t lock from the outside of the room unless you used your key card, which we dis covered after a couple of days. The dinner was disgusting. It looked like something you get at a homeless shelter.. I don’t know who wrote those good reviews, but...

"Never again. Stay somewhere else. It is overpriced for a hostel-sized room, and the treatment we received by the manager/staff Jessica and Britta was unprofessional. We had a poor experience at this hotel, especially considering that we paid nearly $250 a night for what felt more like a motel than a hotel. We missed our first night due to train connection delays. As soon as we found out, we called the hotel directly -we were insured by Visa, we were not able to arrive that night and told them...

"Centrally located, close to all the attractions. Spacious rooms, some rooms have an unfinished roof view. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The amenities were limited but very nice. Did not visit or used the restaurant. A very nice experience"
