"Room was clean, the ac worked great, the staff was friendly and helpful! I wish the room had a microwave and that the room was a touch more sound proof. I love the sound of the waves , but I'm a light sleeper and it was a bit too loud even with my headphones."

"Aston Kona by the Sea was probably the best place my family and I ever stayed, and we travel a lot! We splurged on an ocean-view room and were literally a stone's throw from the ocean. The view was spectacular and it was amazing to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing outside our room! However, everything about this place was superlative. The accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of parking. The location was central to the activities that we planned, and not very far from restaurants and shopping. This place was an excellent value and we will surely look to stay here when we return to the Big Island!"

"We had a great experience from check in through check out. Our room was upgraded at check in to a room with an ocean view and we were given fresh leiโs. Our room key was in the form of a waterproof bracelet so we didnโt have to worry about carrying a card with us. The resort was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and had wonderful service poolside. What we didnโt expect was how great the snorkeling was off the beach that is about a 10 minute walk from property. We had dinner at the restaurant on their property, the Canoe House. We reserved a table there well in advance and was the original reason we decided to stay at this resort. The head chef was the winner of the most recent season of Top Chef. The staff was helpful throughout the stay. Whenever we looked like we needed help, one of the staff would stop and give us information. They offered both self and valet parking. We chose self park because we wanted easy access to our car and it was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again on another trip to the big island."

"Very nice and clean for an older complex. The staff were always helpful. But the parking lot is so far away from some units. Occasionally the cart would stop and offer a ride. But they were not always around."

"Our unit was immaculate. Super clean, newly painted, all new appliances including fridge, range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer in the unit. Large kitchen, full dining table and living room area with sofa and multiple chairs around a coffee table. Every room has a tv. There is a market next to the property so you can get your groceries and cook all of your meals. Recommend getting an upper floor with a golf course view."
