"This hotel turned out to be quite deceiving. From the outside it looked grand when you walk up to it, but in reality it was tired with a 70s/80s building on the side which is where we stayed. Branded as a spa hotel, the spa side was tiny, old and very dated. The pool was very small, the jacuzzi wasnt working and empty. The sauna was tiny, with a door that was hanging off the hinges and had scraped the floor. In the changing room, very few of the lockers worked. The room we had was very small...

"Already the premises give out a reassuring feeling of care and comfort. This is then corroborated by the quiet and clean rooms, warm and cosy, along with a spacious breakfast area which presents a good variety of food, replicated for the dining area. All this topped with an ample parking space. Last, but certainly not least, the caring and welcoming staff just make it a must to want to go back."

"Clean spacious rooms, bar and service staff excellent, food was slightly more expensive but quality was excellent worth the little bit extra, rooftop pool and bar was fantastic, staff up there were brilliant, can’t wait to head back there!"

Staff excellent apart from the night security guard who wanted a full breakdown of who we were (I already gave him my full name and room number) carried on asking more questions until a younger staff member came from the back and stopped the multiple questions. In general staff were excellent. "

"Nice breakfast, parking is a tight for the number of rooms but ok if you arrive for a early check in.Speaking of the check in it states a time 12 noon but this is not correct,we arrived at 1pm only to be told that is to early but our room was ready so no problem for us and able to park ok."

"Stay here and the showers would not work so I went to ask for assistance, but was told the person who could help was too busy cooking for a large table It was a shame it had potential to be a nice venue Plus, the rooms were very cold and the heater did not really suffice"

"I was not there for business.However if 10 stars were availble for each section of feedback ,i would award them.Iwas impressed with every aspect.The staff were superb.I spoke to other guests and they were full of praise for the staff and all facilities.l didn t want to laeve as it was so comfotable and welcoming.Totally brilliant."

"A good hotel but some things are not immediately obvious from the property description. The hotel is on a university campus, surrounded by University accommodation. Breakfast is not provided in the hotel itself but in a university cafeteria across the road, but most significantly this may not be open over a weekend, so if you book on a weekend all you may get may be a grab and go breakfast bag. As long as you are aware of this when booking you should be OK as no real criticism of the hotel...

"Great welcome at reception, and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The room was probably due a redecoration, but for a single night it fitted the bill. Breakfast was good. "
