"I stayed for one night whilst travelling for a mixture of business and pleasure. It had been a long hot day so it was a pleasure to step into the cool of this lovely old inn. The welcome was warm and friendly and in fact I think the friendliness of the staff is my standout reason to stay. "Had a great stay, staff really friendly. The room, mattress and pillow were good! Best pillow I have had ever in a hotel infact. Very dog accommodating, good food, great grounds to walk the dog and nearby walks too. Good pub just down the road to interchange if there for a few nights. Only issue for me was an outdated hairdryer which was reported. "
