We never got to checked in with the hotel for the 3 weeks we stayed in Ho Chi Minh City. The whole thing was a scam. I have called Expedia several times asking for help, and nobody has been able to help us. Thank goodness for my cousin who got us a place to stay, because I can’t afford to pay another hotel. I’m very disappointed with Expedia staff. That was ours first time booking a vacation through Expedia, the flights were excellent but hotel are terrible never again we want to put ourselves into that position again. I didn’t want to deal with all the stress and didn’t want anyone to messed up ours vacation so I was just left it alone.

Terrible experience.
I reached out days prior to my stay about the check in process. I spoke to the manager through WhatsApp and they asked me to book directly through them to avoid middleman fees, when I said no, they cut all communications with me. I arrived and had no place to stay. If I did not have family in Vietnam, I would have been screwed.

I stayed in park 1 Vinhomes. Once you booked the room they will send you a message and also provided their contact info if you have family member in Vietnam, make sure ur family reach out because i heard you could get scam. It was somewhat clean but the kitchen in my apartment wasnt the cleanest. It smells moldy but overall pretty decent experience.

If I can give this a ZERO rating I would. The owner never contacted me with any check-in info (no code, keys, or instructions). Despite calling from the U.S. before our late arrival on Jan 11, I got no response and had to book a hotel for my family of eight. When we went to Vinhomes the next day, no one could help, and the number Expedia gave us said “it wasn’t them.” We were clearly scammed. I booked a month in advance and ended up with no place to stay in a foreign country. Do NOT BOOK WITH VINHOMES!! They took my money but no access to the place!!

Total scam. We arrived tired at 1:30am after flight delays. Three young people met us in the lobby, took us up to our room. Said there was another apartment if we didn't like that one, and it would be less than half the price. Immediately felt uncomfortable, and said no, we would like to sleep. Then demanded full payment in cash which wasn't listed in the Orbitz post. We did not have any cash, and decided after that point the whole thing was creepy. They were all three harassing us to go to the new apartment still, offering one night free (which to me screams it's fine, I will come steal your stuff when you are fone tomorrow). We left and found another place at 2am after they followed us out to the sidewalk.

NO COMMUNICATION and NO REFUND
DO NOT book this property. I believe we got scammed. No communication from the property and we were unable to check in or stay. There are literally THOUSANDS of apartments on this property and had no communication. We had NO Communication from the property on how or where to check in and had to find other accommodations. We were also not able to get a refund.

I booked a 3 day stay at this location but my flight got delayed and wasn’t able to connect with the hotel management so i missed my first night even though I pay everything in full. So when I arrived at this location, I was unable to connect with the property manager for the whole day and got kick by the security. Turn out they book my room to someone else without letting me know. Now they are not even giving me back my full refund for the 3 days that I didn’t even get to stay in. I was really disappointed and frustrated at the same time.

This is a case of non-delivery of service. I paid for the apartment stay on March 9, 2025, but the apartment was never provided. On March 8 and 9, I attempted to contact the property for check-in instructions through the Expedia messaging app and WhatsApp using the provided phone number, but received no response. As a result, I was unable to check in. In the end, Expedia refunded me but they should have done a better job vesting these scammers.

The agent contacted us and canceled our reservation just five hours before our scheduled move-in, claiming the property was under repair and had been listed by mistake. When we explained that we had no other place to stay at such short notice, she offered a different unit — but with an additional charge. Because it was last minute and we couldn’t find anywhere else for a group of seven, we agreed to pay the extra fee. However, once we arrived, we realized that the furniture in the substitute unit was clearly inferior to what was shown in the original listing. The kitchen had a strong odor, and a cabinet door was broken and had fallen off.
It took multiple calls, a lot of back-and-forth communication, and an hour and a half of waiting before someone finally showed up. Then, they took us through the basement parking area and let us in through the back door of the building, which made us feel like we were staying there illegally or without proper permission.
To make things worse, a lady knocked on our door with cleaning supplies at 11:00 a.m., even though our checkout time was 12:00 p.m. When we told her we’d move out at noon as scheduled, she didn’t leave but instead waited right outside our door, which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable.
Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience that lacked transparency, professionalism, and basic hospitality.

This was by far one of the worst experiences of my life. I dread anybody ever having to go through the experience that I went through with this apartment company. I arrived in Ho chi Minh Vietnam and I had my two dogs with me. I got in my taxi. Got to the location and I walked up and down the street until I finally got access to the company and I met up with their representative. He started to take me into the apartment only to find out the apartment is not dog friendly. The lady who was managing the whole transaction said she would contact hotels.com customer support and this never happened. They kept my money and the worst part is that on their hotels.com page they state that the apartment is pet friendly. I would have never booked this apartment. Now I am out of $500. Even though I also paid for the protection plan through hotels.com, I contacted the insurance company and they sent me through the ringer and hotels.com refuses to send me back my money. Terrible experience. Hope that no person ever has to go through this.
