I was a bit skeptical about getting a good night's rest since this hotel is located right next to Bui Vien Street. However, this is probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in HCM. I have stayed in other areas of the city for the same price or more, but I wasn't pleased due to issues with security, sanitation, and being too far from the action.
The main reason I chose this hotel was its location. It’s about a 10-minute walk to many main attractions, such as Ben Thanh Market, the Rex Hotel area, and other downtown sights. The price is also very reasonable. If you’re here to party, Bui Vien is only a few hundred meters away, and there are local eateries, pharmacies, and markets within walking distance.
The only downside is that the hotel does not have an elevator. I didn’t have much luggage, so it wasn't an issue for me. The service is top-notch. Unlike other hotels, you do need to tell them when you want your room cleaned, but there is always someone on standby 24/7 in case you need assistance. I also appreciated the security; the front door locks at a certain time, and you can only enter using your room key.
The staff is also super friendly. I needed help with one of the App and the young lady was extremely helpful. Also the owner is always there and is more than happy to help you to book tours or answer any questions that you might have. I have seen him helped customers to move luggage to Taxi using his motorcycle. Highly recommended!
