"The neighborhood is terrible and dangerous, a lot of homeless and junkies and robbers. The rooms are very small, you feel like in a jail room, no shampoo, the TV doesn´t work, wi-fi? forgot it, never works, the staff very rude. You have to pay even for breath. I don´t recommend this hotel. The worst, certified."

"Passei 10 dias no Hotel Del Plaza Palace, na Praça da República, durante o Carnaval, e minha experiência foi bastante mista. A localização é excelente e a estrutura é boa à primeira vista, porém o hotel já demonstra sinais evidentes de desgaste e falta de manutenção preventiva. Não recomendo para estadias longas, apenas para pernoites rápidos. Nos dois quartos em que ficamos, enfrentamos problemas com ar-condicionado e chuveiro. No primeiro, o ar parou de funcionar no terceiro dia; o técnico informou que não havia conserto imediato e seria necessária a troca do aparelho, obrigando-nos a mudar de quarto e interromper meu trabalho e aulas online. No segundo, o ar também falhava: precisava ser desligado para o motor esfriar antes de voltar a gelar, comprometendo o conforto. Os chuveiros eram problemáticos, com jato excessivamente forte ou desconfortável. A limpeza deixou a desejar: painéis com poeira acumulada, azulejos quebrados e sujeira em áreas altas pouco higienizadas, o que agravou crises de rinite. Em contraste, a cozinha é excelente: ambiente amplo, organizado, café da manhã variado e equipe extremamente educada e atenciosa. As recepcionistas são simpáticas e prestativas, mas um funcionário específico demonstrou descaso constante, permanecendo no celular e ignorando cumprimentos. "For the past two years, I have been staying at this hotel whenever I travel from New York to São Paulo. I always choose it because of its central location. However, during my last visit on February 8th, 2026, I had a terrible experience. I was given a dirty room with no towels and garbage on the floor. I immediately called the front desk, and they sent a housekeeper, but the one who arrived was rude. I asked to speak with a manager immediately. As a paying customer, I don't want to take a long, expensive flight from New York to SP just to be treated poorly. When the manager arrived, he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. He did, however, upgrade me to a nicer room, which I appreciated. Still, his attitude made me realize that no one at the hotel truly cares about customer satisfaction. There seem to be many new staff members who lack concern for guests. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel."

"The staff were courteous, kind, respectful, and helpful. The room was spacious, immaculate and great for the money. The hotel stay included breakfast, which was from 6 to 10 with a great variety of food from fruits to eggs to sausage, breads, coffee, tea, hot, chocolate, etc. I would highly recommend anyone that’s on a budget to stay here the hotel is essentially located in the republic part of São Paulo"
