"This was the largest room overlooking a lake that I've ever stayed in. You could put a small flock of sheep and not reach the bed My onlyshortcomingis the breakfast buffet. Not up to the level of other hotels I've been at. If planning a visit to Hallstatt keep in mind most vendors and restaurants do NOT take credit cards; cash only. Still a great place"

"The staff were very helpful and attentive. The coffee bar and seating area was nice after a long day of walking. The recommendation for traditional Austrian food at the Die Weisse restaurant and beer hall outside the main tourist areas was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, the hotel was situated well within the new town close to the old town. The breakfast was excellent."

"Good location for the train, sound of music tour and the gardens. Hotel does not have a swimming pool as advertised. Bathroom we is not for the less able bodied. Shower over bath, bath is a big step up and oddly set up. You scrap your legs / ankles on the taps."

Besonders schön war das große Fenster mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge, den ich direkt vom Bett aus genießen konnte. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, und das Personal war stets höflich und freundlich."
