If I could give it more stars I would. It was peaceful, quiet, and the staff was great. I could have stayed for a week sitting on the dock if I wasn’t on a schedule. The lake is gorgeous. The location is right in the middle of many wineries, breweries, and activities. We stayed in a Yurt which I highly recommend. We had coffee and fresh muffins in the morning.

This is the second time that my husband and I have been to this resort. We especially love how quiet it is and relaxing. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Leslie at the front desk was excellent. Every night they lit a fire pit right by the water edge. The swimming pool was clean and they had two new cabanas to sit in this year. Thursday night there was a live band on the property. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely be back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plum Point Lodge. The location was great with many wineries just a short drive away. The area is easy to navigate and I think this spot was the perfect jumping off point for what we wanted to do while we were there. I especially enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning and in the evening or by the fire pit. We had dinner at Sapalta on Thursday evening, the food was delicious and caught the last live music of the season on the deck. Two details that kept the stay from being close to perfect...the room was very damp. So much so that a hand towel used at night wasn't even close to being dry in the morning. I'm not sure if it was a change in the weather, or because we were in the end room, but it was weird. The room also could have benefited from at least one large area rug. The floors were very nice, but a rug would have made it a bit cozier. We would definitely stay again if in the area, the vibe was really relaxed and sort of a throwback.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff would be a reason to stay at the lodge even without being lakefront. Another positive is the size of the porch with rocking chairs facing the lake. Also an abundance of seating on the oversized dock, plus alot of seating on the lawn. The overall rating of 4 of 5 is due to some of the room maintenance has been deferred or done to a lower standard of work.

We had never been to this area and knew nothing about this property, but decided to take a chance and boy were we impressed! From the clean room, to the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the mouth watering freshly baked muffins every morning, Plum Point Lodge delivers! Nestled on the western shore of Seneca Lake, this lodge is a bit older but very well maintained. You will not be disappointed!

Nice setting. Just be aware if you get one of the double bed rooms the sleeping area is very small. It’s an older motel, and the walls are thin. On the plus side, the property is well maintained and right on the lake. The fire pit is great. Other rooms may be bigger, and they offer glamping. Coffee and muffins in the morning are good. If you want a bigger breakfast you will have to go elsewhere.

Plum Point is an absolute paradise. We enjoyed the scenery, food, and drinks. the facility was awesome. our room was wonderful. We will definately be coming back. our only regret is not bringing our dogs. they would have absolutely loved it. It is the type of place where you feel forgotten by the crazy world. I would (and will) recommend to all but kinda want to keep it a secret for myself.

We decided to stay at Plum Point before the holiday rush and were glad we did. Our room was great. Beautiful views of the dock and lake. We ate at the restaurant, Sapalta, every night and the food was good. Tianna was our server most nights, and she was friendly and helpful. My partner fishes and brought his small motorboat and was able to launch it and dock it for a couple of days, which was perfect. Everyone on the staff was friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely stay there again. The entire property is gorgeous and they've got a great spot on the lake.

OMG. What a wonderful stay. Room top notch. Wonderful bed. Great bathroom. And the views! Sit down by the lake just a short walk away. Or just look at it from your balcony. Coffee and muffin in the morning while sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. A surprised reggae concert on our last night of our stay. The general manager did a wonderful job. And don’t forget the fire pit every night. Highly recommended.
