Views, comfort, and convenience

Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and a short drive from all the sites of Thun and Bern. Would definitely stay here again in the future. The hotel also provided a baby crib free of charge.

The views will make you cry - heaven on earth

Speechless - not enough positive feedback can be given for this experience. The views, staff, food, walkability to town, easy access to marina, rooms with generous space and storage were truly indescribable. This one has been earmarked for any future visits to the Bern area.

The views are great. But you can hear the people upstairs walking around a lot. Not much within the walking distance and everything closes really early. The restaurant was good

The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Thun. However, the hotel is up about 200-300 feet above the road where you get the bus. Also, for a $450 room there was no phone, no mimnifridge or even a coffee maker in the room. There is hardly anyone at the front desk- the same staff manges the restaurant.

If you want to stay in a comfortable place. This is it. Its quite, beautiful. Praise for the staff is all i have. Even before i left LA, I called and was helped by Stephanie. She is the best. As a foreigner i needed guidance and she gave it... i followed it and had no problems. The restaurant is awesome.... the wait staff is down to earth friendly. As for the .... the room is spotless... Clean to perfection. Key words, FRIENDLY, COZY, LOCATION...

Amazing hotel and view

Undoubtedly the best hotel view I’ve ever experienced! Breakfast wonderful (more amazing views!) and excellent staff. Onsite free parking.

Beautiful view from the rooms and very quiet. Easy to get to the hotel by catching the 21 or 24 bus from Thun station. Restaurant is okay, I think there’s better dining options located in Thun.

Hotel is a little walk up the hill from the lake ferries -if coming from Thun or Interlaken - take a boat. Wonderful breakfast and dinners and a lovely view from our room. We walked to the lake (5 min) and went swimming with the locals.

Väldigt familjärt och mysigt hotell med bra service. Bussarna går alldeles nedanför hotellet så det är lätt att ta sig in till Thun. Man kan annars lätt promenera in till Thun då det är ett promenadväg efter sjön hela vägen.

Selvästi paikallisten suosima ravintola (ihana terassi puiden varjossa!) ja viihtyisä ja autenttinen hotelli. Sijainti melko korkealla rinteessä, josta kaunis näkymä alas järvelle. Järven rannassa uimapaikka, mutta ylös rinnettä takaisin kiivetessä ehti kyllä tulla taas uudestaan aika kuuma. Näinä aikoina miinusta ilmastoinnin puuttumisesta, vaikka rauhallisessa ympäristössä pystyi pitämään ikkunat auki yöllä, mikä viilensi huonetta vähitellen. Palvelu oli äärimmäisen ystävällistä ja joustavaa!
