The weather was excellent the Hotel was situated in a beautiful quiet place. We were placed in the annex building not the main Hotel which wasn't very clean it had cobwebs in the room and the balcony was not well kept. There were dead plants in both pots the balcony had not been swept. The beds had seen better days and the pillows were abysmal. On the plus side the breakfast was very good plenty to choose from and the staff were brilliant. All in all a good experience but could have been better.

Views, comfort, and convenience

Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and a short drive from all the sites of Thun and Bern. Would definitely stay here again in the future. The hotel also provided a baby crib free of charge.

The views will make you cry - heaven on earth

Speechless - not enough positive feedback can be given for this experience. The views, staff, food, walkability to town, easy access to marina, rooms with generous space and storage were truly indescribable. This one has been earmarked for any future visits to the Bern area.

The views are great. But you can hear the people upstairs walking around a lot. Not much within the walking distance and everything closes really early. The restaurant was good

The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Thun. However, the hotel is up about 200-300 feet above the road where you get the bus. Also, for a $450 room there was no phone, no mimnifridge or even a coffee maker in the room. There is hardly anyone at the front desk- the same staff manges the restaurant.

Avoid this hotel. It’s located on a steep uphill, making it very difficult to reach if you’re traveling with multiple suitcases or young children. The elevator wasn’t working, so we had to carry all our heavy luggage up to the top floor. The room had no air conditioning. It was extremely hot, and opening the windows for fresh air only filled the room with bugs. For the exorbitant price they charge, this hotel isn’t worth even 10% of the cost. I would not recommend staying here.

Room is not stock properly with towels, soap I have to keep calling to ask for it. During summer like May it's too hot because the room does not have ac. It's far from other must see places.

Beautiful view from the rooms and very quiet. Easy to get to the hotel by catching the 21 or 24 bus from Thun station. Restaurant is okay, I think there’s better dining options located in Thun.
