The property was beautiful and having beach access to the lake was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable and a great location only 20 minutes from downtown Interlaken. The breakfast was very good too!

They have a rowboat you can just take out for no cost on the lake. Was really fun. Nice services, right on the lake, good staff.

Rude front desk manager

What a beautiful property and excellent location .. evrthing is so beautiful but one odd incident leaves a bad memory.. and there front desk manager Ines does that .. I have not met such a rude front desk manager in my travel over 25 countries .. rest of the staff is excellent and friendly ..I don’t know why owners have kept her there .. the property is beautiful ..food is excellent .. convinent to new travel .. right on the bus stop ..

Fantastic

Such a relaxing place to stay. We toured during the day, but always looked forward to getting back to the back garden each day to watch the sunset and moon rise over the mountains. We will definitely stay again. Monica, who works in the restaurants, is a ray of sunshine and will always brighten your day.

We took the train to Thun and then the bus to the hotel (bus stop is right outside). It’s a lovely hotel with amazing views over the lake. We were upgraded to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the lake which was just so calming to sit out on and relax (even if it was raining as the balcony was sheltered). The room was a little old fashioned, we had booked a more modern room but the upgraded room whilst larger was the old style. However, this was made up for by the views. Staff were very friendly and sorted us out with free bus passes. We ate at the Italian nearby which I would recommend. We then took the bus on to Interlaken which is another scenic journey (sit on right on bus!)

Overall, this property is excellent! It’s in a beautiful location includes a nice restaurant and a wonderful spa. BUT, it does have a few shortcomings. The first is there’s no air-conditioning or screens in the windows. So if it’s warm in the room and you open the windows, you may have mosquitoes come in to keep you awake, which happened to us. The second is the spa doesn’t open until 11 AM. They have a wonderful hot tub on the lake, which we would have liked to have used in the mornings. Other than these two issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our three days at this hotel.

Its a Older Hotel!! A lot of older people but I like the location, the staff is excellent The breakdown food also great… We also had dinner at the restaurant, great food! ‼️ My main issue was hotel room!!!! We choose a room with balcony , they gave me a side balcony room instead which Its Ok BUT bathroom shower was clogged i guess water dosent go down fast enough and I dont like to shower with feet in dirty water all times… - Not enough products in room, like shampoo and conditioner or body soap, liquid etc or nice towels Was just One bottle of shampoo inside shower . Which should be explained so we can bring our own! July here is hot weather and very humid ( NO air conditioning) should be also disclosed-
