"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Geyser Lookout B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome. They live on site and are both very friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard to ensure every guest has an excellent stay.
Our room was wonderful, with a very large bathroom that felt very spacious. One of the highlights was having our own deck overlooking one of the active geysers at a distance.

"Close to Whakarewarewa forest which is why I booked it.
Cheap but dated.
Property was as I had expected for the price so can't complain about that.
Only main issue was that there is a lot of vibrations/noise that goes throughout the room literally every 30 secs 24hrs.
Thought they were earthquakes at first but later found out that it was a pipe that ran under property and everytime a truck drove over it the place shook.

"The room's bathroom was too small- there was no where to hang out wet togs and towels. Pool gate and area could use a update and refresh. and the curtains are too see through, for $300 per night I was expecting a bit more in the room, but staff were great. Prices for a toated sandwich and salad and fried expensive."

"The overall location was nice, pretty quiet, other than the cyclone outside but that wasn’t their fault. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice as well! We used the hot tub and it was nice and hot despite the winds. We would stay here again if in the area! "

"You give for what you paid. The first room that they gave us had a broken sliding door to the Spa room. One of the pillow was dirty. The second room didn't had a water stopper for the spa and it was not working fully. The reception don't open after evening, so if you come back after dinner and find out there you need any services there are none.
The rooms are quite big, it's suitable if you have a big family with kids. And they have a kitchen that you can cook, if you don't feel like going out...
