"Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. "The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property.
The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. "Hotel was noticeably old and there was a lot of active construction items laying around. Lots of junk items laying around. Under the awning there was an old drink machine laid on its side being used as a catch all for empty cans and other trash. At one time I told the room attendant that we did t need total room service but if we could just get two towels and would

"When checking in they told me my room was ready. Then they told me that they were oversold and other guest decided to stay. Then I got another story that they would refund me the difference. I took the other room and then found out from another staff member that they had two king rooms ready but they wanted to sell them to someone else for a higher rate than what I got online. This person said that this happens quite often. When I approached the owner, he said that if I didn't like it I could...
