"Lovely Swiss hotel with atttentive staff. Room was very nice - comfy bed, lots of pillows. The AC worked wonderfully despite temps over 90°F and being on the fifth floor. Great breakfast. Proximity to public transportion was key for our busy, compressed schedule and so easy to use. The BaselPass saved us hundreds of dollars on cabs. "

"I highly recommend that everyone should look beyond the big expensive city of Basel and look into Germany for accommodations. Although this hotel had slightly outdated décor, one can see that this hotel, and it's staff, have a lot of pride in their work place, and they offer great service. My room was spotless, had all the necessities except for air conditioning but thankfully, it was a cool enough night that it wasn't necessary. "It's a nicely designed hotel. The historic building is equipped with modern furniture and bathrooms. I like the atmosphere that connects the lobby, breakfast dining room, and the courtyards. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Defeintely worth the price. The Staff was great, rooms clean, and the AC was very much appreciated during the Heat Wave. The Hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown. Parking was 8 Euros. They also have a large appartment to rent for famlies. I would definately stay there again! "
