"A nice family on-the-road stop. Highlights: easy access, quiet through the night, comfortable bed. Lowlights: 2 minute noodles were in the kettle from the last client, and the adjoining brick wall had about 4 or 5 finger-sized holes drilled into the brickwork, which were really a bit odd/creepy. We blocked them up with paper in case they were cameras? More likely just nail holes for artwork, although a bit low for that… but surely there’s a reasonable explanation. "no allocated parking and basically had to run down stairs when someone moved their car to get a decent spot. remainder of cars had to park on the road. car park was dimly lit which is scary for an older single female. grey slate stairs to get to upstairs room were also dimly lit and quite dagerous for visually impaired people. panel wall heater would not work and no electric blanket but fortunately i had my own heater in the car"

"We asked for a ground floor room, were told we would be given one, and were put in a second floor room. The external stairs to the room were steep and not at all recommended for anyone suffering from knee issues. The room itself was fine, although there was no iron (which I only mention because I would've liked to use it, not a huge deal!). Microwave and fridge and crockery and utensils were great.
