"Parking available at the property, nice village location. Room was nice with period features (although disappointed the 4-poster bed not there as advertised). Food from the pub was delicious although you could hear the noise from downstairs - this didn't particularly bother us but be aware if an early or light sleeper that the rooms are above the bar. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"While I appreciate this is a historic and therefore old property, which is what attracted us to book, the building could do with some tlc. The outside of the building windows looked dreadful and need repainting, particularly back of the building overlooking the car park. The inside walls up the stairs and in corridors need painting. It needs a refresh as it is looking tired inside. Having said that we enjoyed our stay and had a very good time. We would stay again."

"The staff were very friendly on arrival however there were some miscommunication and we were left for half an hour waiting to be checked in whilst we were missing the wedding which we questioned, the room was okay, quite small and basic but no issues, unfortunately there were skid marks in the toilet from someone else which then made us question the cleanliness, the light had a sensor in the bathroom and it kept going on and off during the night making a clicking noise which was quite annoying. "

"Our room exceeded our expectations. It was in excellent condition, as though it had been recently renovated. Staff were lovely and made our stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast included and Tuesday Indian banquet on site made a delicious evening meal. "

"We stayed 3 nights in a bleak February. The weather was bad, but the room was warm and cosy. The dining hall was shut, but a continental breakfast was laid out on the landing and a small table and chairs provided in the room. Cooked breakfast was available for a small extra fee, but we didn't feel we needed one. We were in the Cream Room and we were pleased that the "private bathroom" was en suite.which we weren't sure of from the description. This is a working farm. The field opposite during...
