"We love the history of Duff Green. Staff is always so friendly. Understanding this is an older historical home I still feel like it needs to be in better shape as far as cleaning an organization. The ice machine in upstairs kitchen has mold growing in it. The room we stayed in isn’t set up correctly. Broken toilet paper holder. Only 2 towels for a room that holds 8 people. There were only 3 of us. By the time we realized it I had to share a towel. Just more organization I think is needed. Little bit more attention to detail. Maybe it’s because the concierge leaves at 6 so no way to get help with anything. We love the people and the history but we will need it to be cleaner and more set up before we will be back again. Don’t let this deter you from visiting. Everyone should experience this historic place at least once. Maybe the other rooms had better attention to detail. First thing first is that ice machine! You can get someone sick from that."

"This was our first time staying at this best western and we could not have picked a better hotel. From the front desk check-in to the staff that was managing cleaning the rooms and at breakfast everybody was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. I have stayed at several hotels and everything was great. We were in town for the LJ Echols blues show that was at the Ameristar Casino, so it was conveniently located to the casino. The breakfast was a full buffet style breakfast and it had everything from cereal to making your own waffle. We will definitely stay back at this hotel when we’re back in Vicksburg."

"I mean the beds were comfortable and the overnight staff evening rather was very nice the lady in the morning acted like I was bothering her because she was on the phone when I asked her about coffee. The safe in the room was broken and up in the top of the closet the hair dryer looks like it had melted but it did work. The beds were made in a way that they looked horrible but at least it was clean but it was very sloppily done. I'm not really sure I would stay there again. Also it does say don't park in front of the doors but I had to let my handicapped mother walk because everybody was parked in front of the doors and I couldn't get close enough to let her out. That was the little frustrating but that really wasn't on the hotel that was on people and Humanity"
