"The Margaret Suite (room 8) double room was really good. Four poster bed and a fridge in the room. It’s the first floor bay window at the front of the building so you can see the sea. Apart from arrival, I didn’t see staff again. The room was clean and the room was quiet. The Expedia booking confirmation from the hotel starts with “Unfortunately…” and goes on about what you can and can’t do and their right to change the price. It’s not very welcoming so I’d recommend changing that. "

"As regular customers of Dakota Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh we had been looking forward to staying at Dakota Newcastle to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately the room we booked didn’t live up to expectations with flat lumpy pillows and a broken curtain that wouldn’t close fully, letting light into the room from 6.40am which woke us up early and meant we didn’t get the relaxing lie in we had hoped for whilst away. "One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Been here several times over the years and the staff are always super friendly and helpful, the amenities are great, and there's always plenty of space to park the car. The rooms are spacious with a good living area and nice beds."
