"We loved the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere of Mr Jordaan. The canal-side setting is peaceful and beautiful, just a few minutes walk from bars and cafes. "This is a lovely hotel surrounded by green open spaces. The hotel is newly refurbished so all furnishing in the public areas and the room we stayed in are new. The restaurant serves a beautiful buffet style breakfast and serves a basic but wholesome menu for lunch and dinner. Food quality is excellent and the staff extremely kind and attentive. Plenty of parking is available but to go to central Amsterdam, the bus is the best choice. The stop is less than 100 meters away and takes you directly...

"The only think i didnt like was that guests smoke Next to my Window and i can smell the cigarettes and hear their conversation, perhaps at 1:30 am. But i guess is more the guests than the Hotel Itself. The Personal from Hotel was very Kind and warm. "

"Excellent location, quiet and clean. The staff went above and beyond for us from the moment we checked in early. I stupidly left my phone in the taxi on the way to the train station. When I realized I’d lost it, my friend called the hotel, who immediately checked my room and when they didn’t find it, took it upon themselves to call the taxi company. Within a few minutes of calling the hotel, they’d tracked down the taxi, located my phone, and sent the driver to meet me at the train station so we’d make our departure. This is WAY above the call of duty, and saved the day. Would recommend 1000 times over. "

"Great hotel! We’ve stayed at Kimptons before and love the amenities — and this one in Amsterdam was no different! We didn’t eat at the restaurant but we visited the bar quite a bit for some great cocktails, and participated in the hotel happy hour one night before heading to dinner. The rooms were nice — not a ton of counter space in the bathroom or places to put products in the shower area, though. The neighborhood the hotel is in wasn’t a happening / trendy neighborhood or anything but it was convenient to get to other areas (and Centraal station!). Overall good experience at this hotel & would recommend it for your stay!"
