"Great hotel on western island, walking distance from the ferry and town center. Spacious room and wonderful breakfast. Hot tub was definitively a bonus."

"Perfect location for a little hotel. Walking around town was easy. It's an older hotel but the room was clean and bigger than expected. Very comfortable. We loved that we couldn't open a window. I would stay here again any time. I only have 4 stars because those things didn't come up at all. Our key was on the counter when we arrived and I didn't interact with any staff in the 2 nights we were there at all."

"The guesthouse is located in a peaceful section of Iceland's horse country. It is quiet and clean, with a kitchen available for a fee (useful because there aren't many restaurants around) and breakfast as an option. I stayed in a small room with a comfortable bed and nice shower, and there was a common area for the rooms in the main building. The location was great for exploring the south/central region of Iceland; I would happily stay there again!"

"Great location to use as a base for our visit of the islands. We rented the full apartment but it was apparent it could also be used as two separate rooms rented out with a shared bathroom- so one bedroom was actually the kitchenette. Just need to be aware if you actually plan to use the kitchen that it is a bedroom! On street parking . Never saw the owner but comunication was great through Expedia app."

"These are individual cabins in a stunning setting with waterfalls in the background. The interiors and exterior are beautifully designed in a modern esthetic. Unfortunately for us, the common lodge (lobby, sauna, restaurant) is still under construction and it wasn’t entirely clear when we booked it that there would be no other amenities besides our cabin. The access road as a result was an uneven construction road, which was not ideal. For the price of this luxury accommodation, we had some other small expectations - there was no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion; all communication was through a ChatBot and then follow up chatting with individuals. It was nice to have the privacy, but also somewhat lacking in welcome."

"This place was so cute! Woke up in the morning to open the blinds with horses outside my window. Be sure to call to get the code for the lock box that your key is in. We showed up when it was dark. I was not completely sure which cottage was mine, but figured it out because it was the only one with the lights out. My other tip would be to pack a towel if you plan on staying here."
