"Location was perfect. Near to the station, shops and restaurants. A little oasis away from the hustle and bustle with a peaceful outdoor area to relax. Also lots of comfortable indoor areas to eat, drink or relax. Free drinks and toiletries were most welcome and we enjoyed the use of the free massage chairs and karaoke room. The staff were so polite and helpful. We enjoyed five nights in this hotel, exploring Tokyo, then returning to relax in the evening. "

"Hands down the best Expedia find ever! The location is very convenient, it’s extremely clean and the public spaces are excellent with a great vibe. The quality of the amenities are above average as is the layout and feel of the rooms. The staff is incredible, very friendly and helpful. "Good value for a stay for my family of 4. I rented a car and needed parking and wanted to be close Shinjuku. Mejiro is a short train ride to Shinjuku and hotel is short walk to Mejiro station. Parking lots nearby but hotel did not have its own parking. The Grace room was very big with 4 single beds with only downside being the small windows. Hotel is old but the bathroom had been renovated. Beds were comfortable with great duvet and decent pillows. Laundry room had new washer&dryer machines....

"Just a unique and wonderful experience at Balian resort. Located in a perfect area in Shinjuku, it’s close to everything but just far enough to be quiet. The staff was exceptional. The amenities were amazing. Rooftop terrace, garden for dining, all types of food and personal items for free. It was truly great! "

"What an excellent find this hotel was. Yes, its room only but - there is a (free) array of food and drink available 24 hours a day. Massive variety from noodle soups, to cakes and deserts, fruit and all sorts of Japanese surprises. A variety of alcohol, juices and hot drinks were also available as was a massive range of all sorts of toiletries that you could try. You could go to this hotel with merely a change of clothes and have everything you need (and more) The staff were lovely and helpful...
