"The bar and breakfast staff were very nice. On arrival, we asked to change rooms as the family room allocated was next to the air conditioning units which were very noisy when you had the windows open. There was also a slip where all the sea gulls were fighting over the contents - so very noisy. Reception staff kindly moved us to a smaller room which was still sizeable and much quieter for getting a good night’s sleep. Kids loved the lake out the back and was nice to have a drink outside overlooking the water. We would return as hotel had a nice feel to it. Our kids had a proper bed to sleep in rather than a futon style chair (which often happens in family rooms) and we enjoyed the breakfast."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized standard rooms. Very well looked after hotel. Spa and gym facilities are excellent. Bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere. Breakfast offering was good. Some amenities were missing such as no fridge in the room which was surprising. The bathroom extractor fan wasn't working and neither was the heated towel rail. Also no air conditioning in the room. But they do provide a fan."

"The place is amazing - and I've been a few times before, however, on this occasion, the restaurant could do with more cleaning. Staying a couple of nights and seeing the same dead flies around the tables was a little disappointing - this place is in nature; I expect there to be a few bugs kicking about, just not in the same cobweb for three days."
