"This was the worst experience we have ever had. There was mold in the shower, trash behind the bed, trash still in waste baskets, water had collected at the bottom of the refrigerator and was frozen solid, hair in the beds. When my husband complained the girl looked asked what our room number was and when he told her she said, "oh that room is on our list of not to use"?! Are you kidding me??? She said she would pass along all of our issues to the owner along with the pictures he sent her and the owner would be contacting us. That has yet to happen. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!!"

"Upon arrival, the night staff was not very friendly, unlike the morning staff. There are signs posted that the fire alarm system does not work. We should have left then. After we checked in, we walked past where the breakfast would have been served to see signs that they are remodeling. I wish we would have know that, we would have chose another place. However, the rooms have a full fridge, microwave, 4 set plates, bowls, cups, and silverware, and a small countertop stove. Stores and restaurants are about 3 minutes away. The room seemed clean, but we found 2 long pieces of hairs. Maybe it was from the housekeeping. We did not use the outside area. Another plus was free washer and dryer. That is a nice touch. The AC worked well and thr area was quiet. Overall a 3/5 star stay."

"We tried checking in after 3 PM but had to wait for a room to be cleaned. The room was clean enough but the rest of the building had dirty floors. The pool and hot tub were extremely dirty there was a film on the water and there was hair and other debris floating around. "

"The hotel was being remodeled, but our room was very nice and quiet, faraway from where they were working. It looked like it was going to be very nice when they get it completed, which looks to be fairly soon. "

"This property is in terrible condition. Furniture, including a stained mattress was sitting outside of various rooms. The check in staff was borderline rude as if she’d been interrupted. Our room door was not just unlocked it was open. Would never stay here again or recommend. "

"I am from San Diego CA, and I have been a supervisor for places similar to this just spread out in different communities. I loved it here. It was quite, staff was super nice and friendly. It was clean. I would say just more detailed cleaning if anything needed. It is in need of touch ups. But that is pricey. If you are looking for relaxing and are not picky about every little detail then this place is perfect. If you are looking for Booshie go somewhere else. The price was great. The staff was very accommodating even with my day late arrival. They responded to every email I sent them. They are dog friendly. And I even got a free room upgrade to my surprise. If I ever come back to this area I will be staying here. Thank you to the Lodge staff for making my visit to Texas so welcoming, easy and relaxing. One more thing. The home made inf book was the best."
