"The room was large and luxurious. The king bed was very comfortable and shower was large enough for two. They served a variety of pastries including almond croissants for breakfast. The staff was very helpful with purchasing event tickets and sightseeing. You can see the Hollywood sign from the pool deck on the roof. My wife and I had the best vacation ever!"

"While the room was technically as described, it was very old. We were on the third floor and had an "ocean view," however this just meant a small sliver of ocean in the distance. The curtains for the balcony didn't close all the way meaning that your intimate activities are seen by the entire outside (we used a clothespin to hang them together). The worst part was the noise. The walls seem paper-thin. We could hear small children yelling and people walking right outside our room at 7am waking...

"Pretty decent for an overnight trip"

"Room was boho, fun and clean. Just perfect for us. Marco Polo was great. We love breakfast and drinks at the bar. Sadly, our schedule didn’t allow us to use the pool this visit. Everyone was welcoming and really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to returning. Thank you."

I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). "The room came with a double bed for my son & I. When I asked for a room with 2 single beds, we had to pay extra. I found this strange as we had no such issues with our other hotels in LA & SF."

"1. Shower water was cold; took 30 minutes to warm up 2. Shower was leaking water all over the bathroom floor; almost slipped more than once - very dangerous 3. Paid more for a balcony room but was overlooking a roof of a building - very ghetto. Not worth the extra $ for this upgrade. 4. Club next door was loud until 3-4am. The music and noise from the guests attending will keep you up I love the rooftop however and its in a great location."

"What a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hollywood Walk of Fame! We were made to feel like a home away from home! Especially the service of Marieta & Veronica, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my time and have never had service this good. They are kind, caring and always looking after my 3 children. The breakfast is delicious, pool is great for the kids and rooms are very clean and modern!"
