Though it was a suite, it was on the second floor which meant that there were windows that remained covered the whole time because of the location. "We stayed there because it was right beside and entrance to the UP Train to go to the airport as we had a layover and wanted to do a quick visit to the downtown area. It was the perfect location for us."

"Surprisingly small, beautiful hotel in a historic building. I noticed the attention to the small details from the overall decor of the room, to the pillows & linens, to the robes & slippers, high end soaps & lotions, pitcher of water w glasses and wonderful room service continental breakfast. There was even a secret cute speakeasy bar/lounge across the hall. Loved it ! One small negative is the area is not great & there is no parking "

"The hotel was amazing and all the staff so friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was very clean beautiful room. Plenty of staff always opening the door and greeting us when coming in and leaving. Loved the complimentary lemon and lime water in lobby and on our floor. Also the area is quiet and beds very comfortable. We will stay again for sure. "
