"This hotel was nestled way up in the hills above St Nicklaus. The hotel host was amazing. So fun and happy to help us We had a great night and the location was incredible with amazing views. The room was quiet and comfortable. There was a nice patio to relax and enjoy the summer evening and morning sunshine. The food was delicious on site for dinner. The breakfast was lacking the typical Swiss layout and would be more on the low end of options and such but still delightful. We did experience the fly situation but you are living in the Swiss mountains with sheep and goats nearby so it is part of the experience so it did not bother us as much as others have complained."

"Very relaxing, love the ambiance, comfortable, clean, tidy, spacious, ample safe parking – but very slightly confusing check-in. The stand out features were the location in general, balcony and restaurant. The quality of the food in the restaurant was EXCELLENT and paired with good attentive service made the stay so much more memorable. Chilling out on the balcony with a drink and admiring the scenery as the sun went down was a fantastic end to the day… followed by a good night's sleep. Highly recommended."

"I had a great stay at the Heimatalodge: room was clean and tidy. The hostess, Mariana, was very sweet and always made sure that we were well taken care of, at check-in as well as at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Superb little gem of a hotel with easy access to the nearby lift. We booked a family room last minute and couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Super friendly staff, super clean and cozy, with comfortable beds. Highly recommended! "

"Everything amazing! Besides having to walk 20min from the gondola to get there (downhill so easy walk). The place is definitely worth the walk. Best view, best food, relaxed and courteous hospitality. The hotel was not fully booked so they let us leave at 6pm, at no cost! Disclosure: the walk is not necessary if you get there at 8am or 5pm. During open slopes is not possible. "
