"This hotel was perfect for our 5 nights in Tokyo. The location was ideal, right next to metro station and also a short walk into the centre of Shinjuku for shopping and food. The room was really nice and a good size, but there was only a few hangers to store clothes and no wardrobe so we couldn’t really unpack and the room started to feel quite messy. We were disappointed at the lack of housekeeping. You could put a magnet on the door for them to change the bins and swap the towels but they...

"The accommodations was very clean and close to grocery stores. The only problem we had was the control panel for the water heater kept on talking ( Japanese ) . We did not understand what the panel was saying and we didn't know how to turn the notifications off. It got real annoying after a while."

"Just a unique and wonderful experience at Balian resort. Located in a perfect area in Shinjuku, it’s close to everything but just far enough to be quiet. The staff was exceptional. The amenities were amazing. Rooftop terrace, garden for dining, all types of food and personal items for free. It was truly great! "

"What an excellent find this hotel was. Yes, its room only but - there is a (free) array of food and drink available 24 hours a day. Massive variety from noodle soups, to cakes and deserts, fruit and all sorts of Japanese surprises. A variety of alcohol, juices and hot drinks were also available as was a massive range of all sorts of toiletries that you could try. You could go to this hotel with merely a change of clothes and have everything you need (and more) The staff were lovely and helpful...
