"I had stayed here before but it must be under different management. The staff at the desk is more interested in showing you how to do the self check-in than anything else. The plug in the room fried my converter and tripped the breaker so I had no power all night and when I woke up, I couldn't even use the bathroom. I told the staff at the front desk and they just blew me off. Later I told the afternoon staff and they just told me I shouldn't have used the outlet in the room. WHAT! Why are there outlets in the room if you aren't supposed to use them. Terrible service and will not stay here again. The breakfast was the only redeeming quality but this place has no service at all. I was blamed for not having any power in my room. Don't stay here."

"The room itself was dirty. Lots of dust in the floor and the skirting boards, as well as the coffee mugs inside the room. Made me question whether they clean the mugs or just wipe them. Also lots of long hairs across the bathroom and the curtain had big stains on it. Mentioned it at reception but didn’t get much feedback on it. Have stayed before about a year ago and it wasn’t like this but the property has gone down hill. "

"We stayed here for 2 nights during a short trip to Hamburg from California to attend a performance at the Elbphilharmonie. For a brief visit built around a concert, the location worked especially well. The neighborhood felt pleasant and walkable, and getting around the city was straightforward. We had rented a car for a day trip outside Hamburg and had no trouble finding nearby street parking for the evening before returning it the next morning. The hotel has a distinctive sense of style and personality. Its musical theme leans more contemporary than classical, though the details gave the space character and made it memorable in its own way. Our room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, which made for a comfortable stay. One detail we appreciated was the option to decline housekeeping in exchange for complimentary drinks at the bar. We stopped in briefly before the symphony on our first evening and again before heading to the train station at the end of our stay. The espresso martinis were consistently well made and a nice touch. There are a few practical areas where improvements would make a noticeable difference. The room felt warmer than expected, and the air conditioning did not cool particularly well, so we ended up opening the window. We were also surprised that an iron and ironing board were not readily available, particularly for guests attending concerts or other formal events. This feels like a fairly standard amenity to have on hand. A few additional towels"

"After a bumpy start at another hotel that was not wheelchair accessible, we checked in at the Hamburg Marriott Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They set us up with a nice and quiet room and provided parking right out front to ensure we could access our vehicle when we needed it. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but had drinks at the piano bar. It was very relaxing and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend a stay at this location. It is walking (or wheelchair) distance to all the main things you want to see in the Hamburg city center. I will definitely book here first when we go back. "
