Great place
This place is great. Love the cottage we had. Pool was right across the way from us. The woman who checked us in was extremely kind and gave me her personal ice stash. I would stay here again. We also met another couple while travel who had stayed there on their trip and loved it so much they were staying there again on their way back home.

The deluxe cabin is very small for a mum with two teenage boys.The lady at the reception was a bit unfriendly when I went to check in after 5 hour trip and she couldn't see the cabin I had booked in the computer, I had to show my confirmation email. She commented also on my kids appearance because they are big teens but they are under 16 ..I didn't like this attitude, her husband is nice and tried to 'fix' the previous behaviour, he also showed us where the lake was.If I had to stay again at this place I would book the biggest cabin available because even if I booked the double deluxe it was very small 😊

The staff micro manage almost stalking people in the complex, New Year’s Eve the owners turned off the lights to people celebrating New Years even quietly at 11 pm.

Nice comfortable place to stay, cabin was spotless and had all the basics. Great bonus to have wifi. Nice spot by the river. Staff were very friendly on checking in and gave me useful information. A very easy stay.

My go-to accomodation when in Hamilton. Always friendly and welcoming, accomodation is comfortable and clean and the location is quiet and relaxing.

Everything was okay with this property except if you wanted wifi you have to be near the reception area. I was there for business and some leisure and had to sit in my car near reception to work. Our cabin was down the back and I informed them when checking in that I had to work whilst there and needed wifi, so this aspect was disappointing. The only other negative is that for the middle of winter I found the cabin prices a little high. The park was probably only 5 to 10 per cent full and I believe if prices were more attractive then there may have been a lot more people staying there, as after all it was school holidays. Good points were it was a nice park, accommodation was comfortable and a great location.

Hi Doug, We fail to see the logic in reducing prices to lose money. Our staff and suppliers including WOTIF do not reduce there costs in the winter months. The night before you arrived and the night after we were 80% full. We have quite periods that is why you paid the off peak rates. The cabin you booked was a specific cabin type and its location can not be moved. We have recently moved to the NBN so maybe the WIFE will improve. Glad you enjoyed the Park and found the accommodation comfortable.

I had to work but took my wife and son. Typical van, warm v clean. Main bed too small unless you're tiny yourselves! Soft lights for night reading would be perfect. Will stay again if I need to.

Cozy cabin, close to shops and tourist attractions
upon arrival I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at reception. He gave me a map, showed me nearby attractions as well as shops and even pointed out the location for my work event. The cabin was cozy, with cooking facilities, comfy couch and bed. Nice for staying in on a cold, rainy day but also nice to come home to after a day out exploring. A very enjoyable place to stay.

The location is ideal - walking distance from town centre and beautiful lake. Comfortable cabins in well landscapes grounds. Enjoyed a swim in the pool.

Easy and clean
Compact cabins, very clean, good facilities. Staff seemed friendly. Cooling/heating was very efficient. Close to main road but didn't hear much traffic noise at all. Lots of trees. Very pretty grounds.
