All Daiwa Roynet hotels offer the same comfort and service and this one is no different (by far the best biz hotels in JPN in this price range). Only disappointment this time around was the breakfast; very limited options especially for us non japanese who don't eat rice/natto/miso soup etc for breakfast.
Considering we were stuck in the hotel for 24 hours during the typhoon it was as comfortable as it could be. Really need to make it a LOT clearer that just because we are booking 2 ad / 1 ch doesn’t mean we will get 3 beds, so our big 11 yr old had to sleep with us 😱😱
Clean but very small room, beds were hard pillows flat. Other Daiwa hotels have 2 pillows. Room layout could be better. If you are like us and travel with 2 large suitcases and 2 carry ons, good luck as there’s not much room. Other Daiwa hotels have been much better. Location is good it’s only a a 5 minute walk from main JR rail station
Cleanliness and service management were excellent. Location was only 5 minutes walking distance to Hamamatsu Station and family mart was adjascent to the hotel. Efficient location.
Room compact but very good price, clean. Staff great, helped us send luggage onto Tokyo. Very close to JR station and bus terminal. Train to Suzuki Plaza, bus to Hamamatsu Castle and Flower Park. Family Mart at hotel good for water, juice, wine. Great food nearby and at station.
It was a pleasure to stay in a Daiwa Roynet again - a "normal" room size (for a Westerner who feels cramped in the very small rooms typical of mid-range Japanese business hotels) and a window with a view made all the difference. I have stayed in a couple of Daiwa Roynet hotels now & found them to be of good quality & very comfortable. The Hamamatsu Daiwa Roynet is centrally positioned, very quiet, & the staff were very helpful.
This is a nice hotel. It is very clean. It’s located in a nice area next to the train station and there is a convenience store and a restaurant on the first floor. The only thing I don’t like is visitors are not allowed in my room. To me, if I paid for my room then I should be allowed to invite visitors during the day.
This hotel is very clean and friendly
The staff were very helpful and its super close to all the action
Would definitely stay here again next visit to hamamatsu.
Located about 5 minutes away from the station, this hotel is very convenient and the staff was very pleasant. Amenities include washers (with automatic soap at the time of my stay) and dryers (hottest of all my stays). Room was very comfortable and bed was firm, but not uncomfortably so, and there was no step-up bathroom, too! Hotel was right adjacent to a convenience store. Very nice stay here and would definitely come back.
Stayed 1 night in a double room. The hotel is in a mainly business area within easy walking distance of the JR and adjacent bus stations. Shopping is close by.
The room was of adequate size if you were travelling without major items of luggage. It was clean and all normal facilities were provided including coffee and tea. Aircon was good and we had an exellent nights sleep. Wifi was strong. Will stay there again when we next visit the town
We had a great stay. Staff were polite and attentive to our needs. Hotel was new and it was surrounded by several malls, food outlets, train and bus stations. Easy access to other parts of the city and other smaller towns and attractions nearby.

Just ordinary
Parking was full when I arrived. I had to park 5 mins away from the hotel. The hotel is nearby the station so probably good for business trip. The hotel is just very ordinary Daiwa you would stay in Japan.
