"we had a late dinner which did the job. unfortunately our room faced the car park so we didn't get the lake view but we did have a very friendly duck tapping on the window in the morning. we could walk to the front and see some of the lake but there was a wedding fair on so access was somewhat restricted. overall a pleasant room and quiet stay."

"Room very clean and well presented. Bed and pillows soft. My two night stay was very quiet and enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and conscientious, but not annoyling so. Food and drink, plus the service was excellent. Gym is modern with a pleasant environment and i happeend to be the only one to use it during my stay- it still had that new gym smell to it. Parking on the road is fine and loads of spaces. Within walking distance of the beach if thats what you are after. Overal, a good base for business or holidaymakers alike. I've struggled to find a hotel in Great Yarmouth that i like, but this place will certainty be my regular when i mext return for work."

"Beautiful property, lovely room, and great staff. Peter was an absolute treasure on check-out, made us feel so welcome and made us feel right at home. I loved the cosy, family feeling of staying at Fritton. The noise however was too loud, and we got woken up by our neighbours leaving for breakfast. Our room (Lady Scott) is above an entrance and each time the door slammed shut the room shook, to the point it woke us up. I do feel that the sole purpose when paying to stay somewhere, sleep quality is a priority."

"A very quiet and secluded lodge, equipped with everything you could need for a stay. It is a proper home from home. The owner, Juliet, met us on arrival and made sure everything was ok and even left us some welcome gifts. We only had a very brief 2-night stay but using this lodge as our base was perfect. I have only marked down the comfort by 1 star as the mattress was a little firmer than we like - but obviously this is just a personal preference and should not detract from the overall stay at the lodge. If we ever need to stay in the area again this would be high on our list of options."
