"Clean room, comfortable queen mattress, bathroom is updated and was fresh. There was a small portable heater that was perfect for just adding a small amount of heat during the evening. There was a microwave, small refrigerator, tv( did not even turn it on) and wifi, luggage rack, love seat, 4 cup coffee pot and supplies. Mobility friendly except the two steps to check in at the office. Friendly couple for our check in and check out. Just heads up checkin has to be done before 730pm according...

"Hello, It was a very nice stay. The owners contacted us ahead, directions were clear and the place is easy to find. The house is unique and the owners very friendly and welcoming. It’s very clean and comfortable. It was close to Bancroft and the Tall Pines rally race, so very convenient for us. We recommend this place and we will come back next year! Thank you"

"There was no hot water in the room and the mattress was worn out and lacked support. I left with a back ache. When I brought the lack of hot water to their attention in the morning, I was told “yeah room # - doesn’t have hot water in the sink, you should have tried the shower.” There was no way I was going to shower with cold water. No price adjustment was made. The property has a beautiful view of the lake, and a quaint ambiance. I want to support local business, and I did not want to travel to...

"Property needs some updating. The room was dirty and the floors had not been washed or vacuumed in quite a while. Although, the bed was clean and comfortable, the wood burning fireplace is always enjoyable. The pool/water spa was ok. Most of the jets did not work but the water was nice anyway. This property has definitely gone down hill over the last few years. A bit disappointed. Not sure we will be back. "

"Overall…Soap dispenser was empty in shower; towels were a little harsh, toilet tissue was too thin. And we had a room 1504 with a closed adjoining door and sound from the adjacent room was easily transmitted. Not always pleasant language and intermittent screaming. Overall though, the hotel is still charming and we would go back."

"Staff was very nice but ceilings are poorly insulated for sound, you can hear conversations upstairs. Staff started cleaning room upstairs at 9am on a Sunday which was very loud and we felt was too early. Also no comforter or duvet on the bed - or in the room as an option - was too cold in the winter."
