This hotel has terrific staff, lovely breakfasts, and is beautiful to be in with all the natural wood decor, comfortable furniture and beds with lovely linens. The location is perfect for walking to many great restaurants, the local bus stop and liquor store. They also have a great ski storage room and private shuttle to three ski resorts.

Communication with staff was incredibly convenient. There is a shuttle from Hakuba and the driver greeted me warmly. Upon arrival, staff greeted me at the entrance and at check-in counter. Staff showed me to my room and my luggage was already there. Staff showed the different amenities within the room including the washer/dryer. The room was spacious and welcoming. The heated floors were always so nice after a long day after ski. The bathtub was truly amazing. I appreciated the facial care kits and the heated towel rack. I also really liked the in-room coffee set and the view was just incredibly every morning.

This is a new hotel in Hakuba. The room is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has shuttle bus to Happo One and Hakuba 47. A rental store is right next to the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel is very nice. We also walked around to explore the local restaurants. We had a very pleasant experience!

Wonderful and relaxing

Very accommodating and supportive. Clear communication on charges and when I will pay through the hotel vs the transportation company. Very quiet construction. We were in a room/studio that allowed us to close off the bed area so that one person was in the bother/living area with the curtains opened while another person was able to sleep undisturbed.

Hotel La Vigne was a fantastic stay—modern, comfortable, and backed by top-notch hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, always going the extra mile to ensure a seamless experience. One of the highlights was the daily shuttle service to both Hakuba 47 and Happo One, making it incredibly convenient to hit the slopes without worrying about transportation. After long days skiing, returning to a cozy and well-appointed hotel was the perfect way to unwind. Breakfast each morning was a satisfying start to the day, leaving us full and fueled for our adventures. The hotel’s restaurant was another standout feature, especially the teppan dining experience—expertly prepared and delicious. What made it even more special was the knowledgeable wine concierge, who introduced us to some amazing local Japanese wines, a true hidden gem of the experience. If you’re looking for a modern hotel with excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and a touch of local charm, Hotel La Vigne is a great choice in Hakuba. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean, modern hotel with excellent service from the staff. The hotel shuttle to the ski areas in Hakuba was very convenient. The hotel shuttle even picked us up when we were shopping in town and could not catch an Uber or Taxi. The service was exceptional.
