This was an amazing option to stay at for two nights. We could drop our bags, do the Hakone Gora loop clockwise with a bus stop 1 min from the door, with delicious sushi and a convenience store nearby too (for breakfeast options). Having the the Open Air Museum and a train stop nearby was perfect. The place itself was tidy, warm, had all the essentials we needed, plus a generously sized bathtub (with TV) to relax after completing the loop. The views were beautiful too.

We enjoyed the property very much in terms of its cleanliness and the ample towels, etc to meet our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for three of us. However, the air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom was extremely noisy all night long and the beds were small and not very comfortable. Otherwise, it was a clean, comfortable property with a 7-11 nearby which came in very handy.

We had a great experience. The place is on great condition, instructions for wifi and appliances are super friendly for foreigners. Can’t beat the location. Walking distance to Open Air Museum, translation and a 711.

We loved the house!

Great property on the hilly (mountain-y) slope with plenty of room (by Japanese standards) for our family of 4 adults, a kid and a baby. There was ample parking lots for our rental car and it was a short drive to amenities, and sights like Lake Ashi and the Hakone ropeway. Loved the fact that the 7-11 was a short walk up the hill, a restaurant next door, and a brewery on the other side of the house.

Location great within a 10 minute walk of the two railway stations and 1 minute walk to Tozen bus stop. 7-11 grocery store 2 mins walk away which is well stocked. Lovely modern property with everything you’d need really including well appointed kitchen and good instructions on all appliances. Minus point would be the road noise at times but it’s a local road not a highway.

Our family of five from Canada (2 adults and 3 kids) had a fantastic stay at this house near Chokoku no Mori in Hakone. The home was clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family. The area is beautiful and peaceful — a wonderful place to relax and explore. One of the highlights was visiting the nearby volcano, where the kids especially loved trying the famous black eggs. The views of Mount Fuji from the area were stunning and truly memorable. Dining options right near the house are somewhat limited, but this was easily solved with a quick 15-minute walk or a short train ride to Gora, where there are more restaurants to choose from. There are also a couple of restaurants nearby, and a 7-11 just down the street which came in handy for snacks or supplementing a meal — the kids really enjoyed that part too! A hidden gem we discovered was the microbrewery just a few houses down — they serve excellent beer and sake, well worth a visit. We would have stayed another day if our itinerary allowed it. Highly recommend this place for families looking to enjoy the Hakone area with comfort and great views!

Beautiful house in great location. The giant temperature controlled bathtub is amazing! About 5 minutes walk from the station, manageable if you don't have too much luggage. We enjoyed the more traditional living room with futons for a change from hotel accommodation. The house is well located for exploring the area with the Hakone free pass. Not being able to leave luggage before or after check-in limited our time in the area (there are lockers at the station, but not big enough for our bags). Highly recommend the restaurant Omoto down the road (like everything in Japan, arrive very early if you don't want to wait) and the Open Air Museum was wonderful.

We loved this accommodation! I was sad to only have stayed one night. There is a 7-11 we walked to for food and snacks, a bus stop we walked to for transport for sightseeing and a nice view of the mountains from the dining room. During our trip we went to onsens and shrines. At the Stagione we enjoyed the heated water for the bath and showers. There is one bathtub and two showers. There are two toilets. I thought having a blow dryer and also a small hair straightener was a kind thoughtfulness. My children enjoyed the tatami mat room for relaxing at night with the tv there. The kitchen table was a nice size for my family of 5, they had plates cups utensils for kids. The kitchen had other amenities we didn’t get a chance to use, but you can tell the hosts were very thoughtful. We had to learn how to turn the hot water feature on. The scented body wash and shampoos were lovely. Would stay again!

Very much an Air B’nB property with a long set of rules and no engagement with staff but perfectly placed to explore the Hakone area. Train station and bus stop within couple of minutes walk, as was Hakone Open Air Museum and 7/11. Even better, a brewery is next door! House itself is fantastic and modern.

This is a perfect getaway in the mountains. Relaxing, quiet, private, clean and modern The photos don’t do this place justice. Shower, tub, and two separate toilets Two bedrooms And full kitchen with balcony. It is VERY modern with fully stocked kitchen supplies. TV, AC and heat and fans in each room. Great location. The management was very responsive too and knows English which we appreciated and found helpful.

ANTS!! everywhere!!

There were hundreds of ants all over the bedroom and the rest of the property. There was a trail of them coming from the closed window. I attempted to contact the property right away several times, but they never responded. We had no where else to stay and had to sleep with the ants! The lock on the door was broken and it took forever to get in. Even after the stay, they never responded or tried to make things right. Avoid this property unless you want to sleep with ants.

とっても、清潔で快適に過ごせました。ただ造りとして階段が多いので小さな子供には転落の恐れありです。実際に転げ落ちてました。大事には至りませんでしたが…。 あと、私がIHのキッチンに不慣れだったので簡単で良いと思うので使用方法があると助かりました。 ですが、総合的にはお風呂も広くて浴室内にTVも有りゆっくり出来ました。 快適。また、機会があればリピします😊✨

メールにて入室時の暗証番号が送られてきたが入れなかった。寒空の下でしばらく待たされた。また10時のチェックアウト後、車を1台15時まで停めさせて欲しい旨を伝えたが清掃する人の車が来るという理由で断られた。その後確認したところ駐車スペース4台ある中で1台だけ停まっていた(多分清掃の方の車)が十分空きはあったはず。融通が利かない。

とても綺麗で新しくて、上品なインテリアで統一されてました。 玄関を入ると真ん中に階段があり、一つずつのお部屋やキッチンが独立しててプライバシーが保たれてます。三世代の旅行などにはピッタリかと思います。 この値段でこのクオリティならまたリピートしたいですね。 お掃除も行き届いて清潔感のあるお宿でした。
