Clean and spacious room, the breakfast and kaiseki dinner was excellent, traditional japanese cooking and Michelin-star like presentation.
Very pleasant staff, Ari and all the others, too.
Respectuous, friendly and ready to help.
The onsen was a great experience.
We had a great time and highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were great - clean and spacious. The dinner service was exceptional. The spa amenities were exceptional. However there was a bar smell on the hotel corridor.
Amazing stay! Staff was kind and helpful. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Great location off the main thouroughfare in Hakone so it was extremely peaceful. I wish we could have stayed longer!!
We had a wonderful stay at Hakone Yoshino Pax. The staff was friendly and responsive, the onsen facilities were great. We stayed for 3 nights and dinner was amazing. Definitely recommended.
Everything is great. Room is nice and clean, the bath inside the room is really nice. I tried the paid private hot spring and the room is great. The dinner and breakfast are good too.
It was a magnificent trip to Hakone and this hotel is just a perfect addition!!!
Dinner and breakfast were tasty)
And the main thing that hot spring/spa area was clean and there weren’t so much people as I expected)))
We had a good time and felt we got value for your money. It was about a 20 min walk from the train station with some uphill. We only had small backpacks so it was manageable. If you have luggage, it might be better to take taxi. The hotel was a little dated but the onsen made up for that. Breakfast buffet was great and offered a good variety.
The exterior looks old but the interior seems to have been renovated and it is in excellent condition including the room we were in. The private onsens are in outstanding condition, the public onsens are great although not as good. The breakfast was excellent with several Japanese and western dishes. The place is close enough to the train station to walk but far enough so that the noise of the town does not bother.
Beautiful place to stay, next to river. Loved hearing the water stream from my room. The room was spacious and very clean.
Breakfast was Japanese style, not my type but had variety and very clean.
So pleased we stayed here, we loved the entire experience. Our kids (ages 10 & 8) were super excited to sleep on the futons and we enjoyed an hour in a private onsen. Highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret the experience. Service was wonderful as we have found it to be across Japan.
Walkable from hakone yumoto station! Hotel breakfast was good. Dinner would be great if we are able to choose the type of food that was served, as some of us not able to take beef and raw food. Surrounding was quiet. A good place to go to!
Amazing place, great experience, very relaxing, check the hotel website to get all the details. Private onsen can only be booked in person for same day use.
We were worried about what the in-room half open bath would be like, but it exceeded our expectations. Even though it rained when we arrived, it certainly gave a different vibe. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff we dealt with were very friendly! If we get a chance to go again, we definitely want to stay for 2 nights to try the different kaiseki dinner options and check out the other private onsen options.
Nice hotel which gives Japanese style rooms. The staff at check-in were very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags with them when we arrived in the morning while our room was made ready (at 3pm).
Breakfast provided a good selection with mostly Japanese food.
The hotel has a 10-15 minute walk to the local train station. Pleasant surroundings with a river (with lots of wildlife) running alongside the road up to the hotel.

I expected more Japanese traditional ryokan, but it was not like that. It was more like a typical hotel with Yukata and Spa. Breakfast was great. The dinner option was okay, but as not as good as breakfast.
