This is fine in a wilderness retreat where the objective is to get away from it all, but in a suburban setting? What moral message is the owner trying to convey? Lack of this basic amenity spoiled what was otherwise a great experience."

"The property is beautiful old vintage charm clean well kept. On a hot July month of 34-36C of outdoor activities, I was looking forward to bathe sleep refreshed. But the bedroom is maintained with a portable AC not enough to keep the room cool. I asked for an electric fan, the owner agreed to provide me but never did. We had to cut short the stay and booked with another hotel. If it wasn’t summer it wouldn't have mattered. Thank you always."

"We loved our stay at the Manteo. We enjoyed the resort feeling and beautiful grounds and amenities. The Maestro restaurant serves amazing food on their waterfront patio. Everything about our stay was 5 star. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to attend to every need we could imagine. Will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful resort."
