Great night’s sleep, quiet location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fab, staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would happily stay there again. "Quick and easy check in and out. Very comfortable beds in a large clean room. Excellent parking and easy access to the town. White a bit of noise from outside but for the rates and everything else about the hotel this is a minor point. The rooms were quite dated but I knew this when booking and it also felt like a very minor point for the stay. Overall had an amazing stay!"

"Its not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%"
"Return visit like the area about 20-25 mins walk downhill to Whitby harbour area. Bus stop by school or Sainsburys minutes away.
Bedrooms clean and big for 2 people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking free and if u forgot anything there is a sainsburys fee mins walk away

"First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road.
Martin who was holding the fort was on his own most of the time and did what he could to help guests, he is the chef and the meals that he did where 5 star.
Behind the hotel is a Leisure Club, the pool and jacuzzi was a very nice place to relax at the end of the day."
