"It was our 2nd visit in two weeks and this time we had 2 rooms for a special occasion. I kept trying to contact to upgrade to a suite but had a lot of trouble speaking to a live person until the night before ~ he was very sympathetic, they were full and he put me on a cancellation list. He worked hard and got us a junior suite which meant the world. The only negative was that they wouldn’t allow my son to apply a $35 credit on a $500 bar bill that each room gets. It was not a lot to ask "

"The staff could not have been more accommodating. We had some special requests and they kindly responded and accommodated for us. The rooms were very clean although they could use a bit of updating— overall our stay was wonderful and we will return. Fitzpatrick is our NYC go to hotel for every visit. "

"Pros: Nice hotel and the room was sizable for NY which is one of the reasons we picked this hotel.
Cons: gnat like flies, mostly in the bathroom but a few in the room area. No killing them off, because more just show up. The hotel says they are working on the problem. Hopefully will be fixed soon"

"As a lifelong fan of The City that Doesn’t Sleep, the Jewel is my favorite place to stay. Location, location, location. I love Rockefeller Center and being in the heart of Manhattan. We are Broadway fanatics and being able to walk to and from the shows make for delightful evenings. The rooms are “European-size” (small), but I love the setup. It’s a cozy kind of space, reminds me of London.
The bed is super comfortable, bathroom well equipped. The Jewel lives up to its name. "
