Pantai Teluk Mexico Rumah Tamu

The famous pink lakes of Mexico, Rio Lagartos. A magical sight! Pink waters and blue sky, It was like sunset reversed; a feast for eyes! There are plenty of colorful salt lakes near Las Coloradas/Rio Lagartos in the Yucatan peninsula. It is just 2 hours drive away from Chichén Itzá and around 3 hours from Cancun. Public transport is scarce in this part of Mexico.
We took a rental car and it was an easy and comfortable journey for us :) Once we reached Las Coloradas, we were welcomed by giant white salt mountains. After driving around the salt mountains for some time, we finally found someone local who took us to this beautiful private salt lake.

"A lovely unique boutique hotel. Located within a easy walk from the ferry terminal. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony had a small table with chairs and I enjoyed lounging in the hammock. Breakfast was tasty, coffee, juice, fruit, sweet bread, toast and eggs served in different style daily. This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Thank-you! "

"When we arrived we were greeted warmly by a young woman named Leira! She checked us in and showed us to our room. What a surprise! "This was an absolutely perfect place for me. My room was large, very clean, and well appointed. I was in room 15 and I loved being on a higher floor and the corner room, windows and lots of light. There is some traffic noise as it is in a corner near an intersection. The place has updated security and room locks. There is a ring bell to first enter the property, after check in you just need your fob to enter the main door. My room had a key code to enter, so convenient, no need to be carrying...
