"We had a wonderful stay. Renata greeted us upon check-in and answered all our questions throughout our trip. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The hotel has a good location and a nice breakfast! Please note the breakfast is only served between 8:00 - 10:00, so if you leave earlier because of an early boat there is no breakfast!☹️ We had booked 3 rooms, and had no. 2, 3 and 4. Room no 2 had only a neon light in the room and was very crowded because of an extra bed, which couldn’t be taken of the room!☹️ There was furthermore a bad smell from the bathroom! Room 3 and 4 was ok with much better light!"

"I read reviews about this property that helped me to choose it, big mistake. Whoever highly rated this place probably doesn't know better, very basic. You feel like you're in someone's house as opposed in a pousada. There's definitely better options for the cost of it. The overnight guy was very nice but one ladie in the day time was rough, from my room I could hear they talking on their phone, loud. Never again 😒. "

"Completamente abandonada! Chegamos às 17:30h e o quarto não estava liberado, apesar da pousada estar vazia. Qdo retornamos do evento, não tinha água para tomar banho. Depois de muita insistência, o vigia nos liberou um outro quarto, que também estava em péssimas condições! Equipamentos velhos e quebrados, ligados por uma gambiarra, muito mofo e umidade, colchões desconfortáveis, etc… A piscina estava imunda! Sem condições de uso. Café da manhã precário. "A family oriented resort, ideal if you are travelling with kids. Quality was excellent and the staff helpful with everything. The suites were very spacious and details like the safari and safari-like decoration all over the resort made the stay a beautiful adventure. "

"The staff are very friendly and accommodating! Andre speaks English which helped us very much in navigating schedules and fun tours to attend. The morning breakfast on the patio is so delicious and peaceful. Beds are super comfortable and staff clean the room and linens daily. Very lovely inn! "

Fabulous stay on Ilha Grande!

"We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Ancoradouro! The front desk staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The sea room was fabulous, and we had a drink on it looking out at the sea. The garden too is a great spot to read a book or have a drink. They also provide beach chairs that you can take out with you. Cleaners clean the room every day. The breakfast had a wide choice of variety and fresh eggs made how you like. Coffee was avaiable at different points throughout the day to which was an unexpected bonus. Overall we loved our stay and didn't want to leave!"
