"It was exactly what we had hoped. The private balcony right over the water, getting lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. The room was beautiful and very clean. "It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. "We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. "We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. "I loved everything about the place , staff was excellent. Casino across the street was nice. The only thing i wasn't happy about was the Tuscany restaurant wasn't open every day, so dinner buffet wasn't that great, especially the money we paid to stay thete. Stoll we enjoyed ourselves. happy "
