The pictures of this place are deceiving and the Casino is and a nice uphill walk that when you been drinking all day is horrible. There are no elevators in the hotel and if you would like to go somewhere once you figure out this place sucks you need to make a taxi reservation 3 hours in advanced and charge person not the entire party destination. The food is decent to down right outstanding some days and liquor is less than top shelf like no Patron but other brands plus the Island is pushjng Cruzan Rum. St. Thomas is the real place to go. I suggest gettimg a car if you are a real driver and can deal with driving on the left. Otherwise do not attempt to drive the roads poorly maintained and huge potholes and dangerous and winding roads that only people who can drive should be operating a vehicle. Also, people there have a problem communicating and directly answering questions. For instance when asking car agent why they where offering tire insurance, she never mentioned as I found out later they got crazy pothiles that will take a car out .

It was the worst all inclusive resort we’ve ever stayed at. The staff at the front desk was absolutely not helpful whatsoever!! It was almost like we were bothering them to ask for toilet paper, clean towels, etc., as our room was not serviced for days, leaving us with no toilet paper, clean towels or tissues. Front desk advised housekeeping was done for the day! Room was nice and big, but we had tiny little ants all over the place and couldn’t even enjoy it. Ran out of coffee in the room, saw housekeeping in the hallway and asked for some, she advised resort had run out of coffee for the coffee machines in the room and that there would be none for a few days. Website stated that there were 3 eating facilities, Italian, beach bar grill and buffet. Italian was closed permanently. Buffet was disgusting. One night it was tacos and nothing else. It is supposed to be open from 6-9, however if we went to dinner at 8 there was nothing left and when someone asked, the staff said “ well we close at 9”! The beach bar grill was ok, but just fast foods and very few items on the menu and we got sick of eating the same things for 7 days. The pool was filthy and there were little bugs swimming on the bottom of the pool. Hot tub was a COLD tub. The beach was very rocky, to the point you couldn’t go in it without hurting yourself and there was a ton of seaweed, which needed to be cleaned off the beach. Bartenders, Greg, Bethany, Luisa were awesome. Shout out for a job well done to Lalo!!!

The room was beautiful & extremely clean & the view was even better. Day 3 we noticed the staff didn’t seem super thrilled to be working/serving us. The staff at the bar outside by the pool and the girl in the cafe were excellent, however staff at the desk and in the restaurant weren’t too friendly. We also noticed day 3, they had told us they were expecting like 178 people at the resort and we definitely felt that because they ran out of food at dinner and for breakfast/lunch. Paying for all inclusive it was a real bummer. I also paid for a protection plan for my stay and when my flight got cancelled, they refused to refund me for the night we lost and then didn’t have space to accumulate us to extend our stay. Super bummed out all around, thank God the beauty outside outweighed all of this or our trip would have been ruined.

We had a very nice time. Located on a beautiful beach and has a very nice pool, anda hot tub. With a pool /beachside bar. It is a smaller place than most people I think imagine for an all inclusive, but it is a small island. And I found it charming, relaxing and absolutely perfect for us. Gregory makes the best pina coladas ever lol. And every single staff member was super friendly and accommodating. I like that they have a little coffee shop with some sweet treats where you can get a latte, cappuccino, or just a regular old coffee. There are pedalboards and kayaks you can take out in the ocean, which was super fun. As well as a little miniature Golf course, shuffleboard, giant Chess And a casino. Plenty of loungers on the beach and by the pool. Every room has an ocean view patio with chairs. Waking up to see the sunsrise right from my room everyday was amazing. Most of the food at the buffet was pretty good.Some of it was great. All the bar food was yummy. I would definitely recommend getting a rental car if you can. We spent a lot of time at the resort, but we also spent a lot of time driving around to some of the beaches and shops. There is no public transportation and cabs are kind of expensive. But if you can't get one honestly, it is not a bad place to just hang out and not leave. I would definitely revisit.

The resort is short staffed and it was extremely difficult to get beach towels or anything from the activity center as they did not have any clean towels available or no one was staffed. The food was average and the beach was not very nice. The rooms were clean and nice except the floors made popping noises as you walked across them as it was laminate wood tiles snapped in place feather than having it glued down or tacked down.

ok so this my experience with this whole trip. Getting to the island and getting off the place on the tarmac was kind of different but followed up by the fact that it gave me 3rd world country vibes. Now to this All-Inclusive deal that was not cheap it's a like a trap to get you to come. These are the thing that they say are included that were not, Tuscany Ristorante Italiano, Entertainment, Concierge Service, Island Tours, it says 2 hot tubs and 2 pools there was only 1 of each, and the beach was pretty dirty. The staff didn't seem very helpful, and it was like I was bothering them anytime I had a question. The food really wasn't good also they said snacks and drinks are included I never seen them. I literally had to get a taxi to the store for drinks and snacks that costed $30 per person for one way than another $30 to get back. Not to mention the resort is the farthest thing away from anything 30-35mins anyway from everything. The casino was a sad place with maybe 100 slots and 2 tables plus they close at 1am. So, if you like to stay in your room and do nothing but drinking liquor these is the place for you. But if you like doing things and exploring this is not a good spot. overall, this was a disappointing trip

The Carina hotel and all inclusive, it had a casino not the biggest but enough to sustain the urge to go. Staff were very polite and respectful. The bar and grill bartenders were a great help when choosing drinks, the food was pretty good also. I would say to rent a jeep so you can get arou d and explore as taxi can get expensive and not to dew are around.

We read some pretty bad reviews. I have no idea what they were talking about. We loved the staff, the food was great, the bartenders went out of their way to give you a fun and engaging experience. We met amazing people. The location was secluded and wonderful. Clean and functional. If we needed something all we had to do was ask. Would 10/10 recommend.

Ocean view, seaweed kept us from snorkeling. A lot of staff don't smile which was weird i thought. Food was great. Shout out to Johnna Willi, best chicken soup i have ever had in my life !! Thanks Johnna. Wish the hot tub was hotter. Most of bar staff are great !

Room was right on the ocean. Nobody was swimming on their beach because of seaweed. Main Italian restaurant was closed. They are understaffed. Buffet dinner was mediocre. The bartenders were great and the bar food was very good. The room looked brand new. Only half of the staff were friendly and smiled. (Beware of driving on the island - no shoulders, can’t see around corners because of vegetation.)

The one restaurant that was supposed to à la carte served a buffet all but one night. Buffet was (no joke) 5 kinds of pasta dishes and basic salad. Staff acted as if I was interrupting them anytime I asked for something. They had no clean towels for 3 of 4 days. Bar staff was nice and bar was only decent food.

Staff was great, the facility was nice and comfortable. Only issues we had was the restaurant/food/drink situation. Buffet was the only restaurant open all week. Their other restaurant was not open at all. Only option for lunch was the poolside bar. Had to wait over an hour sometimes for food with only one or two cooks for the resort. Drinks were good and staff did what they could. Asked for a glass of wine at dinner and was told no…...Had to go to the bar and get any alcoholic drinks yourself. Quite a few mornings there wasn’t much left on the breakfast buffet. When you go to an all inclusive for all you can eat/drink……..it’s disheartening when you show up and it is nothing like what was depicted on the website. Not worth the money spent. We spent way more time off of the resort unfortunately.
