"Check in was fine. Room was dirty, peeling paint, cracked walls. Tv did not work, switched remote, worked ok for a bit then tv shut off and wouldnt turn back on. Volume key did not work so the volume was not adjustable. No lamp shade on desk lamp. Wifi was useless. Beakfast was coffee and white bread. Will not stay here again."

"Our first surprise was the $75 PER NIGHT pet cleaning fee. This might have been understandable if they had cleaned our room at all during our stay. We didn't see a soul the entire time. We were all alone in the hotel and surrounding restaurant. Good thing we didn't need clean towels. No services whatsoever. They gave us a key and told us to lock up when we left. Kind of like The Shining. But with waves. "

"The entire motel is run down and dirty! The first room we were given had an unassembled AC unit on the floor next to the bed. The second room did not have running water. We went to the office again and were told that there was a pollution problem a few months ago, so just let the water run. We asked for a bottle of water to brush our teeth. They told us they don’t provide water to guests that we could go up the street to a store! We opened the tap when we returned to the room and the water...

"The property was very clean. The staff was helpful. It was such a quiet place. Everything worked inside the room. I just couldn't get the tv to work. I had been coming there for a few years when I lived in Philly. I went back this time, and I see they are still keeping their same excellent status. I would go back."

"I come here every year for a conference. I love the large, suite-like rooms with kitchenettes, and comfortable king-sized beds. The property is a stunning building built in 1923. The staff is friendly and highly competent. "

"I wanted to share a warning regarding this hotel. While it is an option for a last-minute stay under $100, the experience was disappointing. The parking lot appeared deserted, and the lobby did not match the photos posted online. There was plexiglass installed throughout the reception area, which was quite telling. Additionally, my room was missing basic amenities, including an iron and a cover for the ironing board. I would recommend looking elsewhere if possible."
