"Hotel needs an update. Staff were nice enough and all the bits you need were there but the customer experience was lacking.
Our room was lovely, if cold. The radiators only work part of the time. The characterful bathroom did not have a big enough radiator - no lingering in the bath with just a tidgy towel rail to heat you ( a tall ceiling and giant window.) Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. "We had a nice 4 night stay here. It’s a lovely motel. The breakfasts are delicious and a big plus! The complimentary waters, tea, hot chocolate and cookies are also nice. A mini fridge would be a nice addition. The bathroom is big with a very comfortable shower. It’s a little further from the town center (an easy walk) but the river area is very peaceful. "This is a new first rate hotel, close to the opera house Manchester. Upon arrival a warm welcome by staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. We have stayed in great rooms over the years but this had everything including bath in the bedroom, walk in wardrobe with Peleton well stocked bar.
