"The room was immaculately clean apart from a build up of mould on shower door. Views are unparalleled. The property is more faded glory than grand. 1980s high quality was evident but has not aged well. Overall property quality control definitely lacking. V dated decor and furniture that has seen far too many uses for its star rating. Peeling paint on railings, mismatched furniture with water rings, badly sized rug with curling edges, creating a trip hazard and dirty balcony windows are examples...

"The staff kindly changed our room to one with a better view - overlooking the pool and scenery beyond. The location of the hotel is great - near bus stop and harbour waterfront with lots of restaurant options. The food at the Reef was very good. Staff was most helpful. "We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes the entrance is located inside the shopping centre but it is very easy to find. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and keen to be of assistance. Our room was spacious and came with a Jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony which was an enjoyable distraction. The hotel is just a short stroll from San Gorg and Independence squares and the Cittadella. "This was a Brand new quality hotel, inside and outside. To be honest I have some issues I can not rate above 5 stars. Excellent breakfast too. Just tell team which kind of coffee you want! I recommend it without any hesitation. And I also recommend visiting Gozo for 2 days with a rental car.
