"**Disappointing anniversary stay** We booked Lanelay Hall over three months in advance for a special anniversary and were looking forward to the luxury boutique experience advertised. We had hoped that booking so far ahead would allow us to be allocated one of the more desirable rooms. Unfortunately, we were allocated Clock Tower 1, an accessible Deluxe Room. "Lovely stay in an old quaint farm house. The room was small with two single beds (not our preference but it is what was available). The private bathroom was modern and very nice. Nigel and his wife are delightful and intelligent. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. It is a bit hard to find off a high speed road but relaxing and quiet once you get there. The donkeys are adorable! We would highly recommend a stay there."
