"Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."

"The staff were lovely, easy to talk to and welcoming. Clean comfortable spacious room. Lovely historic building with guest information book in the room explaining the area and its history. Marvelous breakfast choices.
If something needed changing the staff responded perfectly.
Didn't have time to use the gym/pool but other guests seemed happy.
Look forward to the opportunity to return. "
