"The hotel was a quaint, historic and had lots of character. Its location is perfect for walking to and through Old Town Geneva. Walking to the main bus station can be done easily under 15 minutes. Our room was well cleaned and the bed and bathroom up to date. My only suggestion for improvement would be add more lighting and brighten the room rather than have all dark colors. "The gentleman at reception is gruff and needs to be more friendly and understanding with his weary guests as he seemed more interested in his phone. The hotel itself is simple and the decor deliberately so, with ex army cupboards etc in our room while the restaurant is dismally decorated. Breakfast is basic."
